The Year 7 and 8 Hockey team had a phenomenal week, topping their pool and advancing to a nail-biting semi-final shootout.
Showing composure under pressure, they secured a 3–1 victory with goals from Mila Pereira, Willow Bracewell, and Phoebe Ulmer.
The girls carried their momentum into the final, where they delivered a determined performance before narrowly going down 2–1 to Te Kamo, earning a well-deserved AIMS Games silver medal.
A special mention goes to goalkeeper Sammy Locke, who remained composed under pressure and produced multiple crucial saves throughout the week.
