Innes House Breakfast Raises Awareness and Funds for Youthline
This morning, the Dio community came together for the annual Innes House Fundraising Breakfast.

Each year, this special event spotlights a worthy cause, with this year’s focus dedicated to Youthline, which is an outstanding organisation at the forefront of supporting young people’s mental health.

We were delighted to welcome staff and students from across our local school community, including visitors from Dilworth School, Epsom Girls’ Grammar School, and the Sisters United Academy (SUA).

Key Insights on Youth Mental Health

The highlight of the morning was an address by Liz Hosking-Clement, Youthline’s Clinical Improvement Lead. Liz spoke passionately to the students about the current landscape of youth mental health, sharing recent statistics and providing crucial guidance on how young people can access support and find further resources when they or their peers need it most.

Beyond the vital message of the morning, it was wonderful to look across the room and see students from different schools connecting, laughing, and sharing conversations with one another.

A Community Effort

An event like this relies on incredible community support. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to supporting the emotional wellbeing of young New Zealanders.
