Coco Wren excelled at the Junior Surf Lifesaving Nationals. She's now gearing up for the Senior Nationals.
Coco Wren (10CO) did great at the Junior Surf Lifesaving Nationals, held from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 February at Mount Maunganui. Coco competed among 117 U14 females in a challenging field. The large number of participants led to heats, quarterfinals, semifinals, and ultimately finals, making for a rigorous day of racing for those who advanced.
Coco achieved the following results:
- Beach Sprints: Bronze medal
- Surf Race: Finals
- Run-Swim-Run: Finals
- Diamond: Semifinals
- Board Relay Team: Silver medal
Coco is now setting her sights on the Senior Nationals, where she will compete in two weeks as an U15 Senior.
