During Summer Tournament week, the Auckland Secondary Schools Teams Racing Regionals were held on the Waitemata Harbour.
After a delayed start waiting for some wind, the girls finally got underway on the water. They sailed a magnificent first day and earned their spot in the Gold Fleet.
They then faced some tough competition over the next two days, battling both Mother Nature and the other competitors, which was ideal for training preparation for Nationals. The girls did extremely well, finishing 10th overall and were 2nd girls team.
