Last weekend, Master Michael Muleta (8th degree blackbelt) flew into New Zealand from Melbourne to conduct the grading that included two of our Dio girls who took the challenge of grading to black stripe, Cody Young and Grace Umezaki.
They did themselves and the school proud in their grading, and their official results will be announced on Sunday 15 December at the Van Roon Martial Arts Annual Awards ceremony.
If successful, they will be the most senior members of the current Diocesan school Taekwon-Do club (along with Adara van Roon, a future student in 2025).
