Congratulations to Sina-Maria Su’a (8CW) on her recent World Record breaking achievement in Shot Put.
Sina holds the Junior World Age Record for the 12-year-old age group. She broke the previous record of 12.80m with a 12.87m throw using a 4kg Olympic weight shot put.
Sina also achieved:
• 2nd in New Zealand in the NZ Under 18 (all secondary students throw 3kg shot put)
• 1st equal in New Zealand in the NZ Under 20 with a 4kg shot put (everyone outside of secondary school throw 4kg shot put)
• 5th equal in New Zealand in NZ Senior Women
