Maggie Croft shines in open water swimming, finishing 2nd at Bean Rock and 5th at the Harlequins Zonal Secondary School Championships.
Maggie Croft (9RO) has been competing in the NZ Ocean Swim Series. As part of her training, she recently completed the Bean Rock “Full Bean” 3.2km swim on Saturday 10 February, finishing 2nd in her age group.
Last weekend (Sunday 10 March), Maggie participated in the Harlequins Zonal Secondary School Open Water Swimming Championships, a 3.2km full harbour crossing. She completed the crossing in 57:03, securing 5th place in her category.
