Honorary Prefects 2026
Each year at this time, we announce young women who have been exceptional leaders.
While we appoint Prefects earlier in the year, we wanted to acknowledge special leadership attributes – those students who work behind the scenes to make a difference to others.

This year, we were delighted to recognise eight students as Honorary Prefects. At Assembly last term, each student was presented with a citation celebrating the unique qualities and contributions that have made a lasting impact on others. Congratulations to Eseta Tavui, Olivia Watson, Olive Tingey, Lucy Gibson, Celest Vo, Aimee Horton, Annabelle Judd, and Sophie Walter on this well-deserved recognition.

Eseta Tavui

Eseta is the epitome of kindness and empathy, making her a highly valuable member of our school community. The compassion and commitment Eseta shows to everyone around her is highly admirable, and just one of the reasons why she is such a deserving Honorary Prefect. Eseta is a truly authentic person who always chooses what is right over what is popular, and that quiet integrity has earned her the trust and respect of her peers. Thank you, Eseta, for consistently making those around you feel supported and included. You have left a lasting positive impact on our community.

Olivia Watson

Olivia’s warmth and caring nature make her someone others naturally gravitate towards. She demonstrates quiet leadership through her consistent dedication and willingness to support those around her. Olivia’s reliability, compassion, and genuine commitment to her community have made a meaningful difference to many. Helping to foster a supportive and welcoming community, Olivia brings kindness to our school every day. She is very deserving of being appointed Honorary Prefect.

Olive Tingey

Olive has a natural ability to make people feel at ease. Her warmth and humour create the kind of environment where everyone feels welcome and understood. She is open and genuine in the way she connects with others, and that authenticity is what makes her such a strong presence in our community. Olive’s infectious energy and welcoming spirit consistently make a difference to those around her, and she is a very valuable member of our school.

Lucy Gibson

Lucy brings a genuine warmth to everything she does and everyone she meets. She is hardworking and dependable, but what stands out most is the quiet care she shows for those around her. Lucy makes everyone feel valued and welcome, demonstrating our school values wherever she goes. Her kindness is consistent and authentic, leaving a lasting impression on the people lucky enough to know her. She is a truly deserving Honorary Prefect.

Celest Vo

Celest is one of those people who leads by example, quietly and consistently. As Deputy Academic Prefect, she has shown what it means to be truly dedicated – bringing the same honesty and work ethic to her role as she does in everything else she takes on. Celest is always true to herself and everyone she meets. Her drive and authenticity make her the kind of person others are simply better for knowing.

Aimee Horton

Aimee is a genuine, kind-hearted person who can bring a smile to anyone’s face. Her cheerful nature and willingness to listen makes everyone she speaks to feel seen and appreciated. Aimee’s warmth and easy humour mean that every interaction with her brings laughter and happiness. She makes an invaluable contribution to Dio through her welcoming nature and genuine care, making her an ideal recipient of Honorary Prefect.

Annabelle Judd

Annabelle is a caring, committed member of our Dio community. She brings passion and light into every activity that she does, and will always put 100% into every task. This hardworking quality, along with her true care for the people around her, make her a supportive friend, diligent student, and a lovely person to be around. Annabelle’s ability to make anyone feel welcome is an invaluable gift, both to our school and wherever she may choose to go. Her bright smile and consistent quiet leadership makes her a deserving recipient of Honorary Prefect.

Sophie Walter

Sophie is a thoughtful person who always looks out for those around her. She never fails to put a smile on others’ faces, and the sense of welcome that she brings to the Dio community is authentic and heartfelt. Sophie works hard, and will always be ready with a helping hand. Her outgoing personality and the friendliness she treats everyone with exemplify true kindness and warmth. Congratulations Sophie on being incredibly deserving of Honorary Prefect.
