Middle Years Programme (MYP) Community Project 2026
After launching their MYP Community Project earlier this year, our Year 10 students completed their projects on Friday 7 August, making a difference through service to a wide range of communities and organisations.

This year, 80 groups chose charities, organisations and communities to support, with projects benefiting newborn babies, families in need, elderly people experiencing isolation or living with dementia, children and teenagers in hospital, breast cancer patients, refugees, animals in shelters, and the environment.

For many students, the experience was both eye-opening and thought-provoking. Some visited schools supporting students with complex needs or rest homes caring for people living with dementia, while others found ways to combine a personal interest or hobby with service.

Throughout the project, students reflected on their experiences and what they had learned. Above all, it was an opportunity to contribute to their communities, make a meaningful difference, and put our school motto, Ut Serviamus, into action.
