Christine Aixinjueluo (Year 10) recently competed in the International Figure Skating competition at the Asian Open Trophy in Bangkok, Thailand.

Christine didn’t do as well as she would have liked after a nervous start on day one, but on day two, she conquered her nervousness, overcame her fear and skated a clean free-skate programme to come 20^th out of 35 competitors. Overall Christine came 27^th out of 35, which is a fabulous result at only 14 years old. The Junior Grand Prix Competition is also being held in Bangkok, so Christine has stayed on there to compete and train with the best junior skaters in the world.
