At the End of Season Throws Competition held at AUT Millennium Stadium, North Shore, on 19th April 2025, 13-year-old Sina-Maria Su'a delivered an outstanding performance.
Already the National U16 Shot Put and Discus Champion, Sina-Maria set a new world best in the U14 Girls’ discus with a throw of 48.86m (PB) – surpassing the previous record of 48.82m set by Corrie De Bruin (Netherlands) back in 1990.
