Q. What art disciplines have you done throughout your life?
A. I’ve been involved in the arts for as long as I can remember, mainly through dancing. Starting at just 2 years old, I’ve learnt ballet, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre and, in recent years, hip-hop! Something that has kept me disciplined in the arts after all these years has been my internal motivation and setting goals to achieve by the end of the year. Being a part of different shows and creative projects has really shaped my confidence and love for performing.

Q. What has been your favourite performing arts memory?
A. My favourite memory is the feeling right before stepping on stage. The nerves, excitement, and knowing that everyone around you has worked so hard to get there. Some of my best moments have come from being backstage with friends, supporting each other, and then getting to perform together only moments later!

Q. What are you most looking forward to in your future in the arts?
A. I’m most looking forward to upcoming events this year such as Chicago, our amazing production happening in Term 1! Other things include attending Mega Crew Hip-Hop competitions throughout the year and getting to compete against other schools from around the country. 2026 has a lot to offer, and I’m super excited to see what else the year has to offer!

Q. What is a message you would tell your younger self?
A. One message I would tell my younger self is to enjoy every single moment. Dancing has been something that has been a part of my life for 13 years now, and it has just flown by. I wish I could go back in time to tell my younger self to be more present and appreciate each show, performance and opportunity just a little more!
