Year 7 student Thea Ng represented Dio in sailing at the 2026 Zespri AIMS Games, producing a strong performance to qualify for the Gold Fleet, which consisted predominantly of Year 8 students.
Competing against older and more experienced sailors provided Thea with a valuable opportunity to test herself at this level. She showed great potential throughout the competition and gained important experience that she can take forward into future events.
Qualifying for the Gold Fleet as a Year 7 student was a fantastic achievement, and Thea has plenty to look forward to as she continues to develop her sailing skills.
