Dio’s Fencing team enjoyed a fantastic NZSS Individual Championship, with outstanding performances across both the individual and team events.
Bowie Wang (Year 12) claimed 1st place in Women’s Foil, while Cici Wang (Year 10) secured an impressive 3rd place in Women’s Epee.
In the team competition, Bowie and Cici joined Sophia Dobby (Year 12) and Lucy Chen (Year 9) to secure 3rd place overall, rounding out a strong championship for Dio.
Congratulations to all four fencers on an outstanding set of results and a fantastic achievement at national level.
