Despite the tough matches, the team continued to compete, learn and support one another. Their persistence was rewarded in their final pool game with a 2–0 victory over Tauranga Intermediate, securing a place in the top 16.

Another demanding pool followed, with the team continuing to demonstrate strong teamwork, communication and determination. Dio narrowly missed out on a place in the top eight on goal difference before eventually finishing 14th overall, a strong result in a highly competitive tournament.

Throughout the games, the students remained committed, encouraged one another and continued to compete positively, even when matches were difficult. The experiences, friendships and lessons gained will be valuable as they continue their football journeys.
