720 competitors from across the North Island participated in the event. Our Dio girls competed across a range of events – from sprints to distance, jumps to throws, and even the steeplechase.

Despite the all-weather conditions, from relentless rain to intense sun, our athletes competed with grit, determination, and school pride.

Medal Highlights:

• Sina-Maria Su’a broke two NISS records in the Junior Girls Discus and Shot Put – taking home double Gold.
• Hannah McManus dominated the track with three Gold medals in the Intermediate Girls 800m, 1500m, and the U17 4x400m relay.

Notable Performances:

• Grace Larsen – 6th in U17 2000m Steeplechase with a huge PB
• Sophia Haines – 4th in Senior Girls 800m, 5th in 1500m
• Luisa Haines – 6th in 800m, 13th in 1500m
• Isabelle Brunton – 8th in High Jump
• Noomi Riley – 15th in 800m
• Phoebe Kelt – 13th in both 100m and 300m
• Amy McPike – 14th in 100m, 15th in High Jump
