Dio Stationery Drive 2026
Academic Prefect Zara Khan reports on the outstanding results of the recent stationery drive.

This year’s stationery drive has been an incredible success, with a record-breaking total of approximately 13,400 pieces of stationery collected. This is the highest amount ever recorded for the drive and reflects the amazing generosity and participation of the Dio community.

A huge thank you to all of our Year 13 students and the Academic Council, whose enthusiasm and hard work made this year’s stationery drive such a success. From spreading the word and encouraging donations to collecting, counting, and sorting every single item, they put in a huge amount of effort behind the scenes. We’d also like to thank the wider Dio community – students, staff, and families – for getting involved and donating so generously throughout the drive. This amazing result wouldn’t have been possible without everyone’s support.

The stationery included essential learning resources such as paper, pens, and pencils, along with a wide range of other useful classroom supplies. Every item collected will go on to make a real difference.

This year, the donations are being sent to local primary schools, where they will be distributed to schools and communities in need. For many students there, access to basic learning materials can be limited, so these supplies will directly support education and help create more opportunities for learning.

The stationery drive has been a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when a school comes together for a meaningful cause. Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this year’s record-breaking result possible.
