This year’s theme explores the idea of light as the invisible thread that links us together, the energy we share with one another, the support we feel from those around us, and the moments of inspiration that spark through movement.
With more than 500 students participating in our curriculum and extra-curricular dance opportunities, this performance showcases the dedication, courage, and passion of our students. Each piece represents a strand in a larger tapestry, weaving together different styles, stories, and voices to create something vibrant and meaningful.
Dance plays a vital role in supporting the overall wellbeing of our students. It strengthens both physical and emotional health, nurtures creativity, and enriches learning across the curriculum. Through movement, students develop confidence, resilience, collaboration, and the ability to express ideas and emotions in powerful ways.
Night of Dance – Threads of Light celebrates the light that dance brings into our community, the moments of connection between performers and audience, the friendships formed through rehearsals, and the joy of sharing creativity together. These threads of light remind us that when we move together, we shine brighter.
This promises to be an inspiring evening and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the talent and creativity of our students. We look forward to sharing this special event with our community and celebrating the achievements of our dancers.
