Yasmin Phillips (12 MP) was invited by Rowing NZ to trial for the North Island team for the annual North vs South rowing regatta.
She was selected for the team, as coxswain for the Boys U18 quad. They trained and raced over the recent school holidays, with a couple of close races against the South Island quad.
Overall the North Island team came out on top with the most points.
